
Design lives or dies before a single frame moves. We start in illustration, move into ZBrush, and rebuild for animation: retopology, textures and materials, rigging, grooming, cloth. The character is solved before the shot is.

We capture full body and facial performance with Xsens and Faceware — on stage or on a live-action set, up to four performers at once. The data goes straight into our pipeline. No translation tax between capture and animation.

Whether it's mo-cap data or pure key-frame, the goal is the same: performance. Our team works in Maya, MotionBuilder, Cinema 4D, Blender, and Unreal. We use the tool the shot asks for, not the one we feel like opening.

To bring these original 2D characters to life, Deep Sky teamed up with the CT-SF agency to visualize and execute a 3D concept that closely aligned with their 2D design.
